This book consist of stories about the writer's life in Istanbul; starting from the childhood. Memories and thinking of a boy and a man, all set in the city. I haven't finished reading yet. There's 493 pages in the book.

The city itself feels very real and vivid in the pages. Yes, the writer might have been depressed when he wrote the book. Yes, some stories might feel melancholic and even hopeless, but anyway, it doesn't suppress the city that stands through the history.
