When we look at a small child sleeping we see so much more than just s little boy or girl before their third birthday. We see a little innocent creature with a bright future and huge possibilities. Small children grow older and they begin their school carriers. They learn to know what the world is like, how logic works and the blessings and curses of relationships. They graduate and get a job. If they got lucky they find their soulmates and get married and eventually will have their own children one day. They get old and retire from work life. They will celebrate their 80th birthday with their families and friends, they look back their lives and are satisfied and in peace with most of what they have experienced during their lives.
But some small children don't have a bright future. Some little innocent children are found with a malign brain tumor and very likely will not make it to Christmas.
