A Walk in the Woods

Having slept three days practically from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. it started to feel like I hadn't seen daylight for ages. Today it happened that I didn't only managed to see the daylight but also this strange and endangered light phenomenon called the sun. I just had to take my camera and go out for a walk even though it was -10 degrees cold.

This is the backyard.

Growth season ended rapidly.

It's been warm and wet here for a long time and suddenly the real winter came from somewhere Siberia. Very likely it will be warm again just before Christmas here in the south, but I don't dare to care just now.

Dinner is served! Some of the local grannies and granpas come here to feed the squirrels every day. In the summertime the squirrel youngsters become so tame that they almost eat straight from the hand.

I used to go jogging here in the summer. It's still good place to go for a walk. They keep the routes in good condition.

Common plantain (Plantago major)

The sun is setting already.

Blessed sunlight!
